Cloudy Monday, scattered shows on Tuesday

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) onMonday forecasts increasing cloudiness nationwide from a low pressure systemassociated with a nearly stationary front over the Atlantic coast.

It said thunderstorms are possible along the border area,central mountain range and most regions.

It forecasts scattered showers starting Tuesday and for thecoming days, with downpours in the afternoon, from a surface trough combined witha strong jet stream.

Onamet adds that temperatures will range from a high of 32° C to a low of 20°C.
