American Airlines named Cargo Airline of the Year

Fort Worth, Texas. – American Airlines Cargo was named the2016 Cargo Airline of the Year for the second year running and Best CargoAirline from the Americas for the ninth consecutive year.

Sponsored by Air Cargo News, a leading air cargo industrypublication, the awards were based on the voting results of more than 18,000supply chain professionals. Shippers, forwarders and partners were asked tovote for the airline that provided the best overall customer experience and forthe best service provider in each region.

Jim Butler, president of American Airlines Cargo, acceptedthe award in London during a black tie gala at the Lancaster London Hotel onApril 23. Attended by over 450 industry professionals, including employees fromAmerican’s Europe and headquarters teams, the event is considered a prestigiousnight for the entire air cargo industry.
