Santo Domingo.- Central Electoral Board member Jose AngelAquino on Monday acknowledged the slow pace of elections results, blaming it onthe manual vote tally since some polling places are still counting.

He said the slow release of the results is because the tallyis being done manually instead of electronically, as had been planned.
