A 4.3 magnitude tremor shakes Dominican South, East

Santo Domingo.- A 4.3 magnitude tremor was felt Tuesdayafternoon with epicenter at 8.67 km. northeast of El Valle and 11.09 Km.southeast of Sabana de la Mar, Hato Mayor province, according to the SantoDomingo State University -UASD Seismology Center.

It said the quake registered at 2:13pm was 65 kilometers indepth at 19 north latitude and 69.3 west longitude.

The social networks went abuzz and reported that the quakewas felt in Greater Santo Domingo, El Seibo, La Romana and Monte Plata.
