Dominican writer publishes book on blockade against Cuba

Santo Domingo.- Vice Chancellor of Extension at the Santo Domingo State University (UASD), writer, Rafael Nino Feliz, launched Friday his essay "El bloqueo contra Cuba: ahora la gran guerra por otra vía" (The Blockade Against Cuba: Now a Big War by Other Means).

In his book, Feliz analyzes the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba that has lasted over five decades and still persists despite the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

The launch of the book takes place nearly a week before the beginning of the 8th Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, to be held from July 27th to 30th at the UASD.
