Scattered showers Friday, increasing Saturday

Santo Domingo.- A tropical wave over the eastern portion ofthe country will bring scattered showers mainly during the early evening hours,especially the eastern and south central provinces.

The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts a slightincrease in showers tomorrow Saturday, for all regions except the West, “due toinstability left by the tropical wave that will be interacting with a trough isforecast in the middle and upper levels of the atmosphere.”

It said the seasonably warm temperatures will continue andrecommends drinking plenty of fluids, and wearing light clothing.
