President, vice president file financial statement

Santo Domingo.- The Accounts Chamber on Friday revealedthat president Danilo Medina and vice president Margarita Cedeno submitted theirfinancial statements, but didn’t did disclose the amounts reported.

It said thedeadline to submit the document expires today, as hundreds of officials havedone so recently, as Law 311-14 provides 30 days after they assume their post.

"Inaddition to the head of state and vice president, senators, ambassadors, deputies,consuls, mayors, administrative and financial officers and other publicofficials declared their assets in compliance with the law,” the watchdogagency said in a press release which didn’t disclosed names.
