Dominican Republic milestone as Espaillat heads to Washington

New York.- As indicated by projections onTuesday’s general election in the United States, Adriano Espaillat became thefirst Dominican congressman in the House of Representatives in Washington DC.

In a tweet, Espaillat expressed his deepgratitude to the voters who backed his candidacy on Nov. 8.
