Prosecutor again questions top suspect in Odebrecht US$92.0M bribe

Santo Domingo.- Businessman Ángel Rondón, who admitted receiving around US$92.0 million from Odebrecht, left Justice minister Jean Rodriguez’s office Wednesday morning, after again facing questions since 8:50am as part of the investigation into the bribe case.

Upon departure, Rondon said his visit to the Justice Ministry was to clarify matters regarding the documents which he was subpoenaed to submit on Monday. He again denied paying bribes.

More subpoenas

Also as part of the investigation, national aqueducts agency (INAPA) former directors Mariano Germán and Alberto Holguín will also be questioned.
