Santo Domingo.- Ruling party (PLD) senior leader Alejandrina Germán on Tuesday revealed that the Central Committee will meet on April 22 to punish the members who betrayed the organization in the May 2017 elections.

She said the Central Committee will meet to approve other disciplinary measures.

The former Women minister said there’ a list of the members, including their photo, who supported rival candidates. “The disciplinary regulations establish all the processes that must be followed to expel the traitors. If it were up to me, everyone would be out, but I don’t decide.”

He insisted that “the evidence is there, including many contributions made by colleagues themselves in the investigations that were carried out.”

Germán, a member of the Political Committee, the PLD’s top echelon, responded to a question from participants in the seminar on the economy, education and infrastructure recently held in Mao (northwest).
