Showers over much of the country prompt warnings

Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) on Tue. announced flash flood warnings for 14 provinces from a tropical wave that will bring downpours.

The National Weather Office forecasts showers during the afternoon and evening hours Tuesday, from a trough located near the country’s eastern region and the approaching tropical wave.
