Dominican Defense chief hobnobs with Taiwan par

Santo Domingo.- Taiwan defense minister Feng Shih Kwan celebrated his country’s Armed Forces Day during a meeting with Dominican counterpart Rubén Darío Paulino, attended by senior military officers of that nation.

The meeting was held at Weston hotel’s Takumi restaurant, headed by Ling Chen, who stressed the meeting’s importance for both Taipei and Santo Domingo.

For his part, Feng said his brief visit to the Dominican Republic aims to bolster bilateral ties and improve military cooperation, and welcomed those present on behalf of Taiwan’s Govt.
