Antinarcotics sends dirty agents to face charges

Santo Domingo.- The National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) revealed Sun. that five of its agents have been turned over to Justice Ministry for unspecified infractions.

DNCD internal Affairs said a joint investigation with Justice Ministry officials found that the agents of the San Juan de la Maguana (west) post were linked to unlawful unethical, and professional violations

“The DNCD has reinforced internal controls and has placed in the hands of the population technological tools that have led to denouncement of illegal actions, in violation of Law 50-88 on drugs and controlled substances,” the agency said in the press release.
