Light rains forecast for Friday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) is forecasting light to moderate rainfall during Friday with a chance of occasional thunderstorms in the southwest, east, southeast, north, northeast, and the central mountain region.

Skies over the Santo Domingo and National District area will be partly cloudy with a chance of light to moderate rainfall.

Onamet is advising fragile, small and medium vessel owners to sail close to the coastline without going out to sea due to the unusually strong wind and wave activity.
