Among the unjustified expenses the organization says they must must respond figure increased salaries which in Chamber president Hugo Álvarez’s case was an additional RD$73,500.monthly, which now totals RD$423,000.

The scandal that emerged from the Chamber’s self-assigned wage hike also uncovered a “bonus” two full salaries (RD$350,000 and RD$313,000 respectively), which were their monthly wages before the RD$73,500 and RD$65,700 collected in January.
