As deadline looms, Prosecutor readies Odebrecht graft case indictment

Santo Domingo.- Justice minister Jean Rodriguez on Monday said that on June 9, when the deadline to unseal the indictment against the Odebrecht graft case expires, he will respond all the questions about the process.

He affirmed that they’re prepared as never before to present a solid and sustainable case.

“On the same day or before that day we will proceed to file the corresponding charges, as required by law, and there the citizenry may have the opportunity to see the work that has been done in the Office of the Prosecutor’ as never before had worked, also arduously in search of the truth and ensuring that there’s no impunity,” Rodríguez said.

The official made the statements during the inaugural of a course on culture of peace in the School of the Justice Ministry.
