Chinese hospital ship attends 2,000+ patients

Santo Domingo.- The Chinese hospital ship “Peace Ark” moored at Santo Domingo port, has provided assistance to over 2,000 patients, with 1,500 analyzes and diagnostic tests and performed 21 surgeries.

Hospital ship director Zhang Congxin provided the figures during a meeting with local journalists.

The official said the ship has 120 doctors of various specialties, who are part of a crew of 380. “The most frequent consultations we have attended are osteology, stomatology, as well as ophthalmology.”
