Another tremor shakes the East, this time a 4.4 magnitude

Santo Domingo.- A 4.4 magnitude tremor was registered Saturday morning, according to the Santo Domingo State University (UASD) Seismology Institute.

According to the preliminary report, the quake was felt at 10:12 am and its epicenter located north of La Romana, at a depth of 113.0 kilometers.

It’s the second time in as many months that a tremor has hit the area of La Romana.
