45 Dominican fishermen freed by the Bahamas back home today

Puerto Plata.- 45 Dominican fishermen repatriated from the Bahamas are expected to arrive in Puerto Plata Tues. afternoon, according to statements from provincial authorities.

The fishermen were arrested last year for allegedly violating Bahamian territorial waters.

Local media report that the Dominicans, upon their arrival in the province, will be received at Puerto Plata Airbase by a commission of the Puerto Plata Fishing Boat Owners Association.
