In the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) to Dominican Republic’s Human Rights compliance, the entity said that despite the progress on its Penitentiary Model Management, there are still many opportunities for improvement, especially in areas related to the treatment, education, rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates.
