Survey: 51% favor Medina’s reelection, 36% oppose

Santo Domingo.- 51% of the population favors president Danilo Medina’s reelection, while 36% oppose it, according to the CID Latinoamericana survey.

The poll found that 60% favor Medina’s continuity compared to 27% who prefer the return of Leonel Fernández.

Those surveyed say they prefer Medina, but if he doesn’t run, vice president Margarita Cedeño would be their favorite for the 2020 elections.

The CID said it polled 1,195 people between April 11 and 24.
