‘Dirty campaign’ pushes the ruling party closer to the abyss

Santo Domingo.- The announcement by prominent Peruvian journalist Jaime Bayly, that he’ll reveal details about the alleged source of financing of former president Leonel Fernandez’s new bid for office on Moon. prompted a quick rebuttal from his associates.

National Progressive Force (FNP) party spokesman Vinicio Castillo labeled it a “dirty campaign” sponsored by reelectionist sectors within the ruling party (PLD).

“It’s about creating expectations with the issue.”

Castillo joined Fernandez’s spokesman and close collaborator Rafael Núñez, who earlier tweeted that “who says what he wants, hears what he does not want.”
