More rain from approaching disturbance

Santo Domingo.- The US Hurricane Center reported Thurs. the approaching cloud mass from the Cape Verde islands, which has already a 70% chance of becoming in tropical depression.

Locally the National Weather Office (ONAMET) continues the alert for flash floods, swelled rivers, streams and ravines and possible landslides.

ONAMET predicts for today “a decrease in rainfall in both intensity and spatial distribution”, precisely because of the tropical wave movement that heads to the US coast.
