Showers, thunderstorms over most of the country

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) on Fri. forecast favorable conditions for showers, thunderstorms and gusts of wind towards the northwest, northeast, southeast, southwest, central mountain range and the border area, caused by the humidity that will leave a tropical wave.

Temperatures will be hot, so the Onamet recommends drinking enough fluids, wear light clothes and avoid exposure for prolonged periods of sunlight from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
