Judge releases ‘the Abuser’s confidant’

Santo Domingo .– The judge of the Office of Permanent Attention of the National District ordered the release Wednesday afternoon of the impresario Yader Rafael Jáquez (Jaque Mate), who the authorities say is a confidant of alleged drug trafficker César Peralta (César el Abusador).

Judge José Alejandro Vargas made the decision after considering that the Justice Ministry did not present evidence linking the accused with the alleged network of money laundering.

Jáquez is accused of conspiracy to acquire, possess, transfer and use assets product of drug trafficking, of money laundering and illicit drug proceeds.
