US wants Abuser case suspect on link to Venezuelan drug plane

Santo Domingo.- Sergio Gómez Díaz, one of the five men wanted in extradition by the United States, was investigated by US authorities for links to a plane ferrying drugs between Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.

According to the Massachusetts District Court, the investigation against the accused expanded when the authorities allegedly seized the aircraft that was used to transport narcotics between both Latin American countries.

Gómez Díaz had been asked in extradition after an indictment was unsealed in the East District Court of New York.

He’s also one of the main suspects in the money laundering case against Cesar Peralta (Cesar el Abusador).
