Santo Domingo.- The Attorney General’s Office on Wed. said it’s in the process of dropping the charges against Jeifry del Rosario Gautier “Toñito Leña”, son of drug kingpin Ramón Antonio del Rosario Puente (Toño Leña), which will pave the way for his extradition to the United States.

Attorney General’s Office PR, Julieta Tejada, told local media that the charge of trafficking 110 kilos of cocaine against “Toñito Leña” will be withdrawn.

“We are in the process of withdrawing the accusation of the case for which he is imprisoned in the country.
