Ex-president’s supporters stage protest, demand Electoral Board probe

Santo Domingo.- Supporters of former president Leonel Fernández are staging a peaceful demonstration in front of the Central Electoral Board on Monday to demand an investigation of alleged irregularities in the primaries last week.

The former presidential candidacy hopeful for the ruling Dominican Liberation Party has challenged the results of the primary elections of his organization, citing alleged hacking of Electoral Board computers.
