Police arrest man who yelled ‘corrupt’ at top Deputy

Santo Domingo.- Máximo Eladio Romero Marcial was arrested at Quisqueya stadium Sun. night, for allegedly shouting “corrupt” at Chamber of Deputies president, Radhamés Camacho.

Sun. night National police director Ney Aldrin Bautista confirmed that Romero was in custody but didn’t specify the charges against him.

He added that stadium security handed Romero over to police officers.

Early Mon. local media report that Romero has been released.
