Pandemic in Dominican Republic: 6,972 cases, 301 deaths

Santo Domingo.- In the last 24 hours, 320 new positive cases of coronavirus were registered in the Dominican Republic, bringing the number of infected people to 6,972.

Public Health Minister Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas on Thursday said 301 deaths are registered nationwide, eight new ones in the last 24 hours, for a case fatality of 4.32%.

He added that 1,301 patients have been discharged after recovering from the disease.
