Tropical Depression 8 forms

Tropical Depression Number Eight formed today, about 220 kilometers east/northwest of Bermuda in the Atlantic, the National Bureau of Meteorology reported.

According to the Onamet, it moves southwest at about 13 kilometers per hour and could become storm Henri in the next few hours.

«Due to its distance and displacement position, it does not represent a danger to the Dominican Republic,” says the meteorological agency.
