BiggerHooded individuals shoot and rob a Dominican Border Guard
Pedernales, Dominican Republic.- A member of the Specialized Land Border Security Corps (Cesfront) was wounded by several gunshots and robbed of his motorcycle and cell phone in Pedernales (southwest).
According to a statement from Cesfront, hooded men, who carried small arms, shot the soldier, took his motorcycle and cell phone, and fled.
The assault was committed by hooded men, who fired several rounds and then fled.

If the assailants were hooded and not identified, how can it be said they are Haitians? The online editions of Dominican news outlets do not identify the aggressors as Haitian.

The guard that was attacked is alive and says they were Haitians. They were wearing hoodies but spoke creole.
