Police arrest an alleged Haitian gang leader

Santiago.- The National Police reported this Thursday on the arrest of a Haitian citizen, whom they accuse of leading an alleged criminal gang that operates in towns in the northern region of the country.

This is Michel Stmith (Timoche and/or El Compa), who is credited with the death, due to gunshot wounds, of a private security guard, which occurred on June 14 while working at a gas station, located in the Estancia del Yaque community, in the municipality of Villa Bisonó.

The victim is Edwin Aquino Fabián, 45, a private security guard, who was robbed of a shotgun. The establishment charged with an undetermined sum of money from the place of work.
