The working day of domestic workers may not exceed 8 hours.

The working day of domestic workers may not exceed 8 hours a day, nor 44 hours a week, as the Government established today.

In addition, they will have an uninterrupted rest of a minimum of 36 hours between working days.

Suppose the domestic worker renders service during their weekly rest. In that case, they may choose between receiving their ordinary salary increased by 100% or enjoying in the following week a compensatory rest.

Also, domestic workers will enjoy vacation upon completing one year of uninterrupted work; the rest will be 14 working days.
