Indigent causes fire at the clock on the boulevard of 27 de Febrero avenue

National District firefighters extinguished a fire in the dome of the clock on the boulevard of 27 de Febrero avenue. The fire was started by a homeless man who usually spends the night there and has been removed several times.

A fire department extinguished the flames caused by the homeless man’s cardboard, plastic, and other materials on the platform. The area was surrounded by plastic, a portion of which was burned. After the fire started, the homeless man fled the scene. Fire department personnel investigated the incident and climbed onto the platform.

The structure of the clock is rotten in several places, which constitutes a danger to the public.
