Cool temperatures for this Sunday

The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported that for this Sunday, weather conditions will continue to be dominated by a high-pressure system, which limits significant accumulated rainfall over the national territory, but due to the prevailing wind from the east and the presence of a weak trough, there will be cloud increases with occasional isolated showers of short duration.

On Monday, a weak trough to the country’s southwest in the Caribbean Sea is expected to bring transient increases in cloudiness with local short-duration showers and possible wind gusts over some areas of the northeast, southeast, southeast, northwest, north, and Central Cordillera.

Temperatures

Temperatures will experience a slight increase mainly during the day, but in the evening and early morning hours, they will become pleasant to cool, especially in mountainous areas and different valleys of the country’s interior.

In Greater Santo Domingo, the minimum temperature will oscillate between 19°C and 21°C and the maximum between 28°C and 30°C.
