Chamber of Commerce launches workshops to enhance commercial registry procedures

Santo Domingo.- The Chamber of Commerce has initiated a series of workshops aimed at promoting best practices in the procedures offered by the commercial registry service. The workshop course, titled “Commercial Registry 360: Mastering the Process,” is designed for users and legal professionals to deepen their practical understanding of commercial procedures, from document preparation to completion.

Antonio Ramos, Executive Vice President of the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the commitment to facilitating business in the country, considering these workshops as a crucial initiative to enhance compliance with regulations and simplify commercial procedures.

Ramos expressed his hope that participants would gain valuable knowledge to streamline their procedures efficiently. Santiago Mejía, the commercial registrar of the institution, highlighted that these workshops are the first in a series aimed at keeping users well-informed about services, processes, and requirements, enabling them to make more efficient use of the organization’s tools.

The program covers topics such as Law No. 155-17 on Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism, along with the Criteria Manual of Law No. 3-02 on Commercial Registry. Participants will engage in case studies and practical examples to ensure correct document preparation, efficiency in registration processes, and a comprehensive understanding of existing regulations.

In addition to Mejía, officials from the Commercial Registry will actively participate in these workshops, held at the institution’s headquarters on Avenida 27 de Febrero No. 228, Torre Friusa, La Esperilla.
