Initiation of wiring installation for electric pumps at La Vigía
Dajabón, DR.- The Dominican Government has initiated the installation of an electrical system to link two electric pumps along the La Vigía canal, situated on the Masacre River banks in Dajabón province. This installation forms part of an endeavor aimed at ensuring water provision to Dominican agricultural producers.
As elucidated by the government through the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (Indrhi), this new approach involves the adaptation of a novel pumping station, transitioning from motor pumps to electric pumps. This proactive measure by the authorities is being undertaken to enable the aforementioned pumps to operate continuously for extended periods without requiring refueling.
