ETED announces maintenance plans for transmission lines

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) has announced plans to undertake adaptation and replacement work on structures in poor condition, as well as the installation of guard cables on the 69 kV Palamara – Bayona and 69 kV Cruce de Ocoa transmission lines – Ocoa, scheduled for this Friday, April 26.

As a result of the scheduled work on the 69 kV Palamara – Bayona line, electrical service will be temporarily disrupted in Caballona, belonging to Los Alcarrizos, and Hato Nuevo, belonging to Santo Domingo West, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Additionally, businesses such as Producots Diversos, KINNOX, Zona Franca Los Alcarrizos, and DISDO will also be affected.

Similarly, the replacement of structures in poor condition on the 69 kV line Cruce de Ocoa – Ocoa will impact service in Ocoa from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
