Toll stations to be Free during Election period

Santo Domingo.- The RD Vial Trust Office has announced that all toll station lanes across the country will be open without charge from 6:00 AM on Sunday, May 19, until 6:00 AM on Monday, May 20, due to the presidential and congressional elections.

According to a press release, this measure aims to allow toll station employees to vote, emphasizing the entity’s dedication to supporting democratic participation. The release also highlights the benefit to the general public, enabling free travel to their designated polling stations for the 2024-2028 election period.

Normal operations at all toll stations will resume at 6:00 AM on Monday, May 20.
