Citizens praise improved passport application process
Santo Domingo.- Citizens report significant improvements in the passport application process managed by the General Directorate of Passports (DGP), which previously faced constant complaints about slowness, delays, and disorder.
Applicants now experience faster processing times thanks to new measures and technologies implemented by the DGP. These changes have streamlined and simplified the procedures, resolving many of the issues that previously plagued the process.
According to ACD media, a tent with seats has been set up for applicants to wait comfortably for their turn, enhancing the overall experience. This measure has not only improved comfort but also optimized the flow of people, reducing crowds and waiting times.
The implementation of new technologies has further increased the efficiency of the process, eliminating the delays that once characterized the service.
But still there is no biometric passports yet. Although promised many times by the Government. As usual.
