Dangerous Haitian gangs encroach on Dominican border

Port-au-Prince.- Haitian Prime Minister Garry Conille announced that he and the director of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Rameau Normil, are formulating a strategy in response to a recent attack by an armed group in Ganthier, near the Dominican Republic border.

“The objective of this working session was to decide on the strategic responses to be given to the armed gangs of the criminal organization 400 Mawozo, after they tried to spread panic among the population of Ganthier,” stated an official release on Monday.

Last weekend, the gang known as 400 Mawozo, led by Wilson Joseph, alias ‘Lanmò 100 jou,’ attacked Ganthier and reportedly seized control of the Malpasse customs annex.

In a video, the gang leader flaunted his actions, showing the burning of the customs house and an armored police vehicle, accompanied by several dozen heavily armed youths.

This territorial gain brings the gangs closer to the border areas with the Dominican Republic.

I wonder where these poor Haitian gangs are getting these advanced weapons from. No one there can supply them with all this money. It is as if a government or three are behind all this. Learning world history might shed some light on how and why all these things are happening.

This is an invasion by a foreign gang. Treat it as such have the military repel them with any force necessary. Do not allow encroachment by foreign armed individuals. Shoot first,,,question later.
