Indomet monitors three possible cyclones; rains to follow

Santo Domingo – The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported monitoring the cyclonic development of a trough and two tropical waves that could continue to generate downpours in the early hours of Friday night.
The entity indicated that it is monitoring the development of a trough associated with a low-pressure area over the northwest Gulf of Mexico, which has a 10% probability of cyclonic development over the next two days.

They are also monitoring a tropical wave in the central Atlantic. It is unlikely to develop into a cyclone in the next 48 hours and has a 40% chance of becoming one in the next seven days.
They are also monitoring a tropical wave near the Cape Verde Islands, which has a development potential of 20% for the next seven days.

Despite Indomet monitoring these systems, temperatures will continue to be high, so drinking water and staying in ventilated areas are recommended to mitigate the impact of high temperatures.

The rains that will be registered until the early hours of the night are in Greater Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, Monte Plata, San Cristóbal, Duarte, Sánchez Ramírez, San José de Ocoa, Monseñor Nouel.
Also to the towns of La Vega, Santiago, Elias Piña, San Juan, Dajabón, Hermanas Mirabal and Santiago Rodríguez.
