President Abinader to attend inauguration of Mexico’s first female president

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader will travel to Mexico City this Monday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the first woman to assume the presidency of Mexico. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 1, at the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro.

Following the ceremony, President Abinader will join other heads of state and government officials for an official photo session and lunch at the National Palace of Mexico. He will return to the Dominican Republic on Tuesday evening.

The president will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Roberto Álvarez, Director of the Cabinet Eilyn Beltran, and other key members of his team during his brief visit.
