Minerd and Puntacana Foundation open Minerva Mirabal Educational Center

Verón-Punta Cana.- The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (Minerd) and the Puntacana Foundation have inaugurated the Minerva Mirabal Reyes Educational Center in Las Dos Jardas, Verón-Punta Cana, La Altagracia province. This new facility aims to provide quality education to the local community and underscores the importance of public-private collaboration for regional development.

The inauguration was attended by key figures, including Francisco D’ Óleo, Vice Minister of Teacher Accreditation and Certification, and Frank Rainieri, President of the Puntacana Foundation. Various organizations contributed to this educational initiative, including the Fly & Help Foundation, the Verón-Punta Cana District Council, and WIR HELFEN KINDERN.

The center, which will accommodate 240 students in double shifts, is the result of an agreement signed in May between the Puntacana Foundation, the Minister of Education, and the municipal director. MINERD will manage the center, ensuring it meets national educational standards and serves the needs of the growing community.
