Edesur Dominicana warns against fraudulent service offers using its name
Santo Domingo.- Edesur Dominicana has issued a warning to the public about individuals illegally using the company’s name and logo to offer fraudulent technical services in exchange for large sums of money. These scammers often contact potential victims through WhatsApp calls, demanding advance payments via bank transfers to resolve fictitious issues.
The company emphasized that its technicians are prohibited from accepting payments for services related to evaluating or addressing energy supply problems. Edesur reiterated that it will never contact customers directly to report breakdowns or service issues.
Customers are reminded to only use the official service channels, including the company’s call center, commercial offices, express points, email from the Edesur.com.do domain, the official website, and the virtual office, to manage their services.
