Abinader highlights progress in state asset management

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader announced that, for the first time in history, over 40,000 state assets have been identified, along with more than 3 million parcels of land across various provinces, ensuring better management and protection. Additionally, 117,000 property titles have been issued, benefiting over 463,000 people.
During La Semanal con la Prensa, Abinader detailed efforts in land regulation to provide legal security for families, including 819 property titles granted under the Esperanza Sugar Mill project. He also highlighted the creation of UTEC Financial Autonomy to streamline the titling process and the first national census of Dominican real estate in June 2023.
The government has also recovered 30,000 acres of state land, modernized administrative processes, and reduced operational costs. Future plans include the construction of industrial parks and free trade zones in multiple provinces to boost employment and economic growth. Digital systems have been implemented to enhance transparency and efficiency in asset management, reinforcing public trust in state institutions.
