Atlantic coast provinces still on alert for downpours

Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) on Wed. continues its alert for the rains in the Espaillat and Puerto Plata provinces.

However, the COE discontinued its warning of downpours for the central Cibao and Northwest provinces.

“The stable conditions generated by a mass of air with reduced moisture content over the Dominican territory is causing a decrease in rainfall today,” the agency said in a statement.
