Miss Dominican Republic pageant is tomorrow Sunday

Santo Domingo.- The Miss Dominican Republic beauty pageant thisweek officially presented its 28 candidates competing this year to representthe country in Miss Universe 2016, the world’s most coveted beauty crown.

The pageant is slated for tomorrow Sunday at the recently remodeledHotel Jaragua, starting 8pm.

Pageant director Magali Febles made the announcement at SatruRestaurant, to a gathering of personalities from the world of fashion, media,special guests and event sponsors.

She said among the social causes of Miss Dominican Republic2016 figure economic support for the San Gregorio Hernandez Oncology Foundation,which provides medical and social assistance for the needy and people of low income,“to fight the terrible disease of cancer.”
