‘Dominican Dandy’ Marichal part of Latino baseball honors

Miami.- Latino baseball players’ special contribution to Major League Baseball history is undeniable, a legacy which will be honored during the All-Star Game “Summer Classic.”

One of the great figures and Hall of Famer Juan Marichal once described Latino ball players as special pros, unique in the way they perceive the game.

“We have a lot of passion for this game,” said Marichal, the ‘Dominican Dandy.’ That pride will now be recognized at what promises to be one of the most unforgettable All-Star contests.
